Terms & Conditions
Lessons
- Scheduling. Lessons are weekly or every other week at a standing time, in the studio, at the student's home by arrangement, or online. Your standing lesson appears as a calendar invitation you can accept once.
- Moving or cancelling. Use your personal booking link, or text or email Jordan. With more than 24 hours' notice there is no charge. Inside 24 hours the lesson is billed in full, except for illness or an emergency. A missed lesson without notice is billed in full. Repeated late cancellations may move a student to lesson-by-lesson booking.
- When Jordan moves a lesson. If a performance lands on your lesson, you get as much notice as possible and a link to rebook within seven days at 15% off.
- Payment. Invoices are sent by email for the week ahead and are due on the day of the lesson. Pay by card or bank through the invoice link, or by Venmo, PayPal, or cash. Nothing is prepaid. Rates are quoted per lesson at enrollment and any change is given in writing at least two weeks ahead.
- Students under 18. A parent or guardian enrolls the student, receives invoices and communications, and is responsible for payment.
Live music bookings
- Quotes and deposits. A written quote states the date, time, performance, and total. A 25% deposit (50% for weddings) locks the date; the balance is due on the day of the event. Dates are not held without a deposit.
- Cancellation by the client. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation within 14 days of the event is billed at the full quoted amount unless the date is rebooked.
- Cancellation by Jordan. If Jordan cannot perform for reasons within his control, the deposit is refunded in full. Where possible a comparable substitute musician is offered.
- The performance. Set times, breaks, requested songs, equipment, and space needs are as stated in the quote. Requested songs beyond the standard repertoire are quoted separately. The client provides safe access, power, and a dry, covered performance area for outdoor events.
- Recording and photos. The client may photograph and record the performance for personal use. Commercial use of recordings requires written agreement.
Communications
By providing an email address or phone number you agree to receive lesson- and booking-related messages, including invoices, confirmations, and reminders. Lesson-day text messages are sent only with your consent and you can reply STOP at any time. See the Text Message Policy. Show announcements are optional and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Liability
Jordan Lovinger Music carries general liability insurance. Except where the law does not allow it, liability for any claim arising from lessons or a performance is limited to the amount paid for that lesson or event.
